[ This will definitely end well!! Perhaps fortunately, Kalim is still, like, a ways away from the actual entrance, and his golem form isn't the fastest... so it'll take him a bit to get there... ]
[Jamil hadn't actually gotten very far into the caverns before being separated from Kalim and then getting waylaid by the carnivorous flowers (thankfully unwittingly escaping danger before "drunkenly" passing out in a corner). Thanks to his lingering wooziness and the labyrinthine pathways, it still takes him a little bit to find his way back to the exit, and so they finally run into each other at the ladder to the outside.
At this angle, with Kalim at the top of the ladder still-transformed and Jamil at the bottom, Jamil can't see much of the damage yet (so to speak), so his initial reaction is to just heave a long-suffering sigh before hauling himself up the rungs.]
[ Kalim emits the sound of a breath of relief and reaches a hand down to help Jamil up when he gets near the top of the ladder. ]

[ Like usual, hearing this in person has a lot more effect on his Natural Soul than getting it as a text. His face is expressionless as always, but his tone of voice corresponds to a kicked-dog look. He's arguing with his own Golem instincts as much as with Jamil when he protests: ]
But something really bad could have happened to you down there! I'd be in way less danger than you like this... I just wanted to protect you.
[ And, well, there sure is blood dried in the hinges of his hand. And in other places, when Jamil is out of the hole enough to see it. ]
[Jamil opens his mouth to retort, but whatever he was going to say falls right out of his mouth as he finally notices the blood all over Kalim. Blood and... something like viscera, small bits of which still cling to Kalim in places in wet, sticky clumps. As off-kilter as Jamil feels already, he might have fallen over if he hadn't taken Kalim's hand (for once).
As it is, he pulls a comical double-take and bugs out wordlessly for a few seconds.]
WHAT HAPPENED?
[The fact that Kalim can't actually bleed in this state does NOT make this any less alarming!]
[Jamil actually sinks to his knees as his life flashes before his eyes a little bit. If Kalim had been made of anything other than metal............................................]
